In general, the height of the aluminum scaffold can be divided into three items: platform height, working height and tower height
Platform Height: Ground-to-Work platform board height (the staff needs to stand on the platform board)
Working Height: refers to the height from the ground to where the hands need to touch when working, generally 2 meters higher than the height of the platform
Tower Height: the total height of a scaffold (the Caster to the highest point of aluminum scaffolding)
The relationship between these three heights,
(Highest)Working height>Tower height>Platform height
Therefore, you should be aware of your requirements for these three heights in order to choose the best product for you, when purchasing aluminum scaffolds.
If you need to repair the ceiling lights/indoor, you should first understand the height of the room and use this height as the working height of the aluminum alloy scaffold (because the construction staff needs to touch the ceiling). And so a total height of the room 4.5 meters, the platform height canbe a 3.2 or 3.6 meter, working height can go up to 5.2 or 5.6 meters, the tower height is 4.2 or 4.6 meter. Our scaffolds are produced strictly in accordance with European standards/EN1004. Each scaffold must have a minimum height 950mm guardrail, so the height of the tower is the height of the platform plus the height of the guardrail.
